The House of Bourgeois
A sense of tradition
A producer in the Marne Valley, Michel Bourgeois has been able to preserve the independence of his family House. Demanding as to the quality of his champagnes, he is perpetuating a tradition based on enhancement of the value of the renowned champagne grape varieties : Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. He is one of the rare winegrowers to use traditional winemaking methods without malolactic fermentation, resulting in champagnes with a closer, natural affinity to the fruit.
The House of Bourgeois has been making wine since 1794, producing champagne true to the very essence of the Champagne label of origin, the appellation.
This authenticity can be recognised in the veritable, unique coat of arms printed on the labels. For Champagne Bourgeois, it is a symbol of its ability to listen to customers, make time for them and provide service. This constant search for satisfaction is backed by a sense of detail.
For example, bottles in the prestige range, the Cuvée de l’Ecu and Cuvée du Dernier Siècle, have a pewter cap.
The House of Bourgeois now produces over 350,000 bottles, distributed both in France and abroad. It is recognised by top professionals for its excellent quality/price ratio.
Champagne Bourgeois has a range that is both classic and daring, a companion for any social occasion, from pre-dinner drinks to meals. This alchemy, stemming from tending of the vines as well as the creative process, has made the renown of the House of Bourgeois. Why not discover it for yourself ?
